The first round draw has been made for the Yorkshire Cup 2008. The winners of the first 18 ties will join the clubs with byes in round 2. The first round is scheduled for September 6th.

Crigglestone crowned Mick Lindop Sevens Champions
The annual sevens competition took place last Sunday with 6 teams from the district competing for the Mick Lindop Sevens trophy. With the competition moving from its usual venue of the Clarence Park Arena, to the King George V Playing fields where it was superbly hosted by Eastmoor Dragons.
The teams were divided into 2 groups of 3 for the round stages.
